Della Etta Hensley

Born January 13, 1943 in Easton to Ralph and Iva (Hainline) Rauch, she married Burl L. Hensley on March 4, 1978 in Pekin.

Surviving are her husband of 45 years; two daughters, Joy Kepple of Rushville and Daphine Brown of Pekin; two sons, Philip (Nickie) Hensley of Beardstown and Earl (Amy) Hensley of Creve Coeur; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one brother, Cecil (Arlene) Rauch of South Carolina.

She was preceded by her parents; one son, Larry Rauch; four brothers and one sister.

A homemaker, Della operated a in home daycare for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and games on her computer. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

Her memorial visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services.
