David was in my Sunday School class at Grace United Methodist in Pekin when he was in Junior High and High School.  He always brought a smile to my face, with his sense of humor and lively way.  I am deeply saddened to learn of his loss.

Just saw David a month ago at our softball game and to hear about his death hit me hard. David was a great guy and friend. Our familes did so much together as kids growing up, from going to see the St.Louis Cardinals, camping and just hanging out with the Sangamon Rd. kids...We were a bunch of close nit kids that would stand up for each other! 
Thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy,Diane and Cindy and the rest of the family! RIP David

I knew David for several years and am proud to have called him my friend.  David was fun to be around and would go out of his way to help his friends.

David was so outgoing, funny, witty, and most of all a friend to many. I have known him for many years and I don't remember a time that he was not smiling. My thoughts and prayers to his family. May your memories provide comfort in your sorrow. Heaven has gained a wonderful soul. 

To the family of David, 
I've known David since we were kids and have always admired his strong work ethic, love of family, and general friendliness (and his love of the Cardinals, of course). The last time I saw David was 11 years ago, shortly before I moved out of state. We were working in the same building and hadn't seen each other in several years when we had a chance meeting. Engaging in conversation with David after many years apart was effortless as David was such a friendly and ambitious person. I know he will be missed deeply. Best wishes to the family.

I am so very sad to read about David's passing. I have fond memories of him in my Kindergarten class. He was all boy and full of questions and full of love. 
I cannot find words to express my sympathy to each of you and the great sadness I have for David's death at such a young age.
