Born November 6, 1948 in Peoria to Caleb and Leona (Nelan) Purvis, she married Paul Swiger on August 21, 1964 in Springfield.
Surviving is her husband of 60 years; one daughter, Lori Schwartz of San Tan Valley, Arizona; one son, Anthony “Tony” (Angela) Swiger of North Pekin; three grandchildren, Brittany (Mike) Daugherty of Goodyear, Arizona, Jack and Logan Schwartz, both of San Tan Valley, Arizona; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Andrew and one brother, Joe (Carlene) Venovich of Tremont.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jackie Rora.
A homemaker, Dannie enjoyed making and collecting bracelets, jewelry and porcelain dolls. She also found great enjoyment spending time with her family.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
