Daniel W McCloud

Born March 27, 1928 in Harris, Michigan to Archibald Vernon and Myrtle Mae (Allen) McLeod, he married Joyce Irene Williams on November 23, 1983 in Kahoka, Missouri. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, David Daniel McCloud of Bushnell; one grandson; three great-grandsons; and three sisters, Jesse Mae Beaudoin of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Helen Miller of Powers, Michigan, Marian Claunch of Monte Vista, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Gordon McLeod, Archibald McLeod, Lauren McLeod and James McLeod; three sisters, Elorine Strom, Patricia Camp and Eva Stockton.

A barber since the 1940’s, Dan opened his own shop in 1964 at the corner of 8th and Amanda Streets in Pekin.

His graveside service will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Rev. Dr. Donald Ridgeway will officiate. There will be no visitation. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting the family with arrangements.
