Born October 9, 1953 in Pekin to Edward and Lela (Watson) Todd, she married Jerry Wayne Richardson on May 11, 2004 in Forsyth, Missouri. He died March 25, 2024 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jerry Todd and Melvin Todd.
Surviving are one son, Richard “Rick” Tannhauser of Pekin; two stepdaughters, Sara Richardson of Lafayette, Louisiana and Susan (Ian) Hacker of Troy, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Molly Tannhauser of St. Louis, Missouri, James Tannhauser of Peoria, Lauren LeBoeuf, Ashley LeBoeuf, Colton Layne, all of Louisiana, Riley Hacker of Troy, Missouri, Olivia Hacker of Pekin, Lillie Hacker and Sophia Hacker, both of Troy, Missouri; one brother, Jim (Phyllis) Todd of Pekin; three sisters, Edda (Byron) Stewart, Betty (Bob) Morris and Delma (John) Reed, all of Pekin and many nieces and nephews.
Diane was a 1971 graduate of Pekin Community High School.
She worked as a photographer for many years before retiring.
Diane loved working in her yard and garden. She also liked watching old movies, baking and going out to eat.
She was a Christian and had a quiet faith.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Randy Justus will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
