Clifford Walter Lohnes

He was born May 11, 1948 in Pekin to Clifford and Loretta (Terrell) Lohnes.

Surviving are his mother, Loretta Lohnes of Havana; one son, Shawn (Judy) Lohnes of Lakewood, New York; two grandchildren, Mallory Lohnes and Ethan Lohnes; one brother Richard (Dianne) Lohnes of Pekin and one sister, Debbie Boyd of Havana.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cliff was a graduate of Pekin Community High School Class of 1966. He worked at Williams Bio Energy for 36 years before retiring on October 26, 2001.

He was a veteran of the United States Army in Vietnam, attaining the rank of sergeant.

Cliff enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors with projects and fixing things around his home. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was a member of the St John's (Sand Prairie) Lutheran Church in rural Green Valley.

He will be interred at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin following a private service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
