Christopher Maddox Vicary

Christopher was born April 25, 2017 in Peoria. He was the beloved son of Megan Marie Miller and Mark Wayne Vicary.

He is survived by his parents; four siblings, Chance Vicary, Michael Vicary, Mitchel Vicary and MacKenzie Vicary; his grandparents, Johnna Ingersoll of Peoria and Stuart Ingersoll of Elmwood along with a great-grandfather, John Wilson of Elmwood. He also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Frank and Sharon “Jean” Vicary and his great-grandmother, Mary Wilson.

Christopher will be remembered for his sweet spirit, amazing personality, and his attention to detail.

Christopher showed love to everyone and had an amazing drive and determination. His love for tractors, farming, cars, building blocks and his family was undeniable.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the funeral home, where private funeral services will then be held at 11 a.m. The Rev. Stephen W. Barch will officiate. Burial will follow the funeral in Elmwood Cemetery. Guidelines regarding social distancing and the wearing of masks will be followed.

Memorial contributions given to the family will be distributed to another family dealing with childhood cancer.
