Cheryl "Cherri" A. Colón

Born July 6, 1950 in Pekin to Arthur and Charlotte (Howard) Vogelsang, she married Joe Colón on October 20, 1974 in Marquette Heights.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years; two daughters, Tammy (Jason) Park of Washington and Rachel (Jordan) McCaw of Mackinaw; three sons, Damian (Vicki) Colón of Trenton, Nicholas (Chelsea) Colón of Byron and Brian (Cindy) Colón of Southaven, Mississippi and 15 grandchildren, Cameron, Ryan, Cayden, Allie, Couri, Josie, Brody, Brynley, Riley, Elliette, Hadley, Connor, Angel, Carlos and Isaac.

A homemaker, Cherri was a loving and caring wife, mom and grandma. She kept a spotless and well decorated home and loved shopping and cooking.

She was a former member of Sacre Coeur Catholic Church in Creve Coeur.

A gathering celebrating Cherri’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
