Born July 4, 1965 in Moline to Charles Hayden. He was adopted by Kathy (Hall) Johnson.
Surviving are his step dad, Joe Johnson of Silvis; five children, Alicia (Paul) Carter of Kewanee, Zach (Nicole Copelen) Dunn of Peoria, Aubryanna Edwards of Savannah, Audriana, and Charlie Hayden of Galesburg; three grandchildren; several siblings and his girlfriend, Dawn Ball of Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hayden and his mother, Kathy Johnson.
Charles worked as a towing operator for Grisham’s Towing in East Moline. He later worked as a taxi driver in the Quad Cities.
He loved fishing, shooting and collecting guns.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to offset funeral costs.
