Charles Adams

Born September 14, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas to Lowell Gene and Deloris Ann (Webster) Adams, he married Barbara Johnson on March 2, 1987 in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are three children, Amiee (Calvin) Garner of Bethlehem, Georgia, Nicholas Adams of East Peoria and Whittney Adams of Creve Coeur; five grandchildren, Preston Adams, Isaiah Adams, Colin Adams, William Garner and Olivia Garner; six siblings, Carmen, Debbie, Christy, Gina, Todd and Chuck and one aunt, Juanita Jones Rector of Eland, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Chuck was a veteran of the United States Army Special Forces, serving as a Green Beret for 11 years.

He worked for Komatsu as a machinist for many years before retiring.

Chuck enjoyed writing, building models and playing strategy games. He loved spending time with his family playing Dungeons and Dragons.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Creve Coeur.
