Born February 18, 1947 in Peoria to Charles and Melba (Eudaily) Langenbahn, she married Thomas “Tom” Dale Sutton on April 27, 1969.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years; one daughter, Michelle Sutton of Peoria and one sister, Coleen Merry of Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A homemaker, Carol was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star Mystic Tie Chapter 245 in Tremont.
Carol enjoyed bowling, collecting beanie babies and spending time with friends and family.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
