Born March 25, 1960 in Peoria, she married Bernard L. Joyce in 1980 in Peoria. He died January 6, 2016 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen Joyce of Pekin and Bernard (Christina) Joyce of Shawaboro, NC; one daughter, Jessica Joyce of Peoria; six grandchildren; one brother, Mark and one sister, Katrina.
A loving grandmother, Candy also enjoyed classic rock and shopping, particularly catalog shopping. She was also a strong follower of the Native American culture.
Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Jason Morris will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to aide with expenses.
