He was born January 31, 2008 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Angus Thomas and Chandra Duckett.
Surviving are his father, Angus (Nathlie Regot) Thomas of Marquette Heights; his mother, Chandra Duckett of Illinois; two brothers, Maximus Chance and Theodore Regot, both of Marquette Heights; one sister, Alys Duckett of Illinois; paternal grandmother, Jolene Thomas of Havana; paternal grandfather, Larry (Angie) Thomas of Alabama; maternal grandmother, Leah Duckett of Pekin and several aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dan Duckett.
Caden was entering his sophomore year at Pekin Community High School. He had graduated in 2021 from Georgetowne Middle School in Marquette Heights where he was a member of the basketball, track and baseball teams.
He enjoyed being outdoors and exploring the woods in his neighborhood and spending time with his friends and cousins. He also enjoyed animals, playing video games and had spent several years doing karate at Kuk Sool Won in Pekin.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Jerry Rupp will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
