He is survived by his wife, Angi, who was the love of his life, his son, Nick, his daughter, Annie, and a host of other family members.
Brett was the 3rd generation to work for Keystone Wire & Steel Co., where he dedicated 36 years of diligent and faithful service.
He was all in with whatever hobby held his interest, from his early years racing Motocross and RC Cars to his most recent passions of golf and golf club restoration and repair. Although cooking maintained a huge place in his heart, his greatest of passions always remained his family and friends, be they distant or close. For this he will be missed greatly.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. His brother, Mike Bennett will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A gathering of friends and family will be held at Marine Corps League, 13370 Garman Road in Pekin.
