Born March 10, 1955 in Pekin to Allen and Jennie (Crook) Sonderman, she married Elmer “Loren” Dosier on April 19, 1990 in Pekin. He died February 26, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, E.J. Dosier and one brother, Ray Sonderman
Surviving are six children, Olivia (Niels) Hansen of South Carolina, Misty (Rick) Dosier of Bartlett, Megan (Pete) Matthews of Peoria, Calvin (Rachel) Dosier of Pekin, Clayton Dosier of Modesto, California and Dominique (Brennan) Kloeppel of Fruita, Colorado;14 grandchildren, Derrick Romans, Jessica Green, Michael Dosier, Mackenzie Hansen, Kali Emerson, Audrey Peickert, Maggie Oplawski, Ariana Matthews, Londan Paige, Zypher Matthews, Daola Matthews, Isabel Dosier, Sophie Dosier, Emma Dosier and Andrea Dosier; seven great-grandchildren, Elijah Emerson, Isaac Emmerson, Warren Emerson, Nova Durr, Jeremiah Romans, June Romans and Adalee Dakota Green; ten siblings, Eugene Sonderman, Becky Appleyard, Ron Sonderman, Ola Walker, Loretta Richmond, Stan Sonderman, Tim Sonderman, Leroy Sonderman, Joyce Baugh and Mike Sonderman and many nieces and nephews.
A homemaker, Brenda took pride in being a mother and did a wonderful job at it for 50 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed embroidering, sewing clothes, doing puzzles and hiking. She loved reading mystery and Sci-Fi books and writing short stories.
Her visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee.
