CREVE COEUR ~ Brenda Lee Dixon, 53, of Creve Coeur, passed away at 9:40 a.m., Sunday, March 17, 2013 in the emergency room at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born December 29, 1959 in Peoria to Robert and Delores (Hobbs) Dixon.

Surviving are her daughter, Ashley Dixon of Creve Coeur; 3 sisters, Bonnie (Kenneth) Tanjes of Creve Coeur, Roberta (Phillip) Andrews of Tremont, and Candace (Anthony) Loyd of Peoria; and 1 brother, Michael (Tina) Dixon of Spring Hill, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Brenda had worked for SC2 in Mossville for 15 years.

A 1978 graduate of East Peoria Community High School, she enjoyed drawing in pencil and pen and painting in water colors.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m., Thursday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. The Rev. Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Fon du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria.
