Brandon Michael Smith

Born November 5, 1981 in Pekin to Robert Eugene and Kelley Ann (Martin) Smith, he married Kaela L. Naven on June 8, 2019 in Pekin.

Surviving is his wife of five years; three children, Brycen T. Waremburg, Bentley E. Smith and Kinzley N. Smith, all of Pekin; one grandson, Camden Eric Waremburg and his mother, Kelley Nagel of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert and stepfather, Delmar E. Nagel.

Brandon worked as a cement truck driver for United Ready Mix in Peoria the last eight years, last working Thursday, April 10, 2025.

A loving and caring husband, dad, grandpa and son, Brandon enjoyed hunting fishing and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed working in his garden, playing bags and loved cooking and hosting fish fry’s.

His visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
