PEKIN ~ Brad Alan Karnes, 55, of 1316 Morton St., passed away at 6:40 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2011 at his home.
He was born August 25, 1956 in Pekin to Carl and Pauline (Swearingian) Karnes.
Surviving are his mother of Pekin; 1 brother, Larry (Dee) Karnes of Manito; 1 sister, Donna Banzhaf of Winter Park, Florida; 4 nieces; and 1 nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father and 1 niece.
Brad worked as a disassembler in the shipping department at WABCO in Peoria from 1975-79
An avid nature photographer, Brad was a member of the Peoria Camera Club, the Peoria Astronomical Society, and enjoyed fishing and camping. He was also at St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 6th at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
