A lifelong homemaker, Bonnie had a heart for service and spent many hours volunteering at Pekin Hospital and baking pies in the basement of her church. She went on many adventures traveling with her husband and friends, and enjoyed upholstering furniture, gardening, and dancing. However, her greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren, whom she was very proud of. Bonnie could often be found on the sidelines of local sporting events, cheering on her kids and grandkids. She will be missed for her contagious smile and caring spirit.
Bonnie was a 60-plus year member of First Christian Church in Pekin, where she served as a Deacon and was a member of both the choir and Deborah’s Circle.
