PEKIN ~ Billy Leroy Birdsell, 61, of Pekin, passed away at 12:13 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
He was born August 18, 1960 in Jacksonville to Robert Leroy and Constance “Connie” Louise (DeFrates) Birdsell.
Surviving are his parents of Pekin; one sister, Sandra Lee Scott of Pekin and one niece, Kayla Jolene Scott of Pekin.
Billy was a self-employed tree cutter in the area.
He loved fishing, hunting and listening to music.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery in Concord.
