Audrey Lee Thomas

Born October 25, 1932 in Hartville, Missouri to Kenneth and Clella (Garner) Lathrom, she married Alan Oliver in 1950. She later married Milo “Mike” Thomas on August 26, 1961. He died February 7, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters and one daughter-in-law.

Surviving are five sons, Alan (Carol) Oliver and Van (Kim) Oliver, both of Washington; Mitch (Becky) Thomas of Bonita Springs, Florida, Randy (Terry) Thomas of Morton and Pat Thomas of Chillicothe; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one sister, Diane (Rick) Yates of Auburndale, Florida.

Audrey had worked as a secretary at Komatsu-Dresser in Peoria for 37 years before retiring in 1992.

A loving and caring mother and grandmother, Audrey enjoyed in her early years square dancing, riding motorcycles, camping, hunting and fishing.

Audrey was a member of the Winter Haven Christian Church in Winter Haven, Florida where she was a faithful servant.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Chaplain Trevor Bartolomucci will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
