She was born March 21, 1992 in Pekin to Jerry Roy and Theresa Lorraine (Towery) Reese. She was preceded in death by her mother on May 25, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herman and Joyce Towery; her paternal grandfather, Larry Reese and her step-grandfather, Tom Miller.
Surviving are her father, Jerry Reese of South Pekin; one brother, Brody Reese of Pekin; paternal grandmother, Barb Reese of Glasford; four uncles, Rick (Sarah) Towery of Manito, Jimmy (Sherry) Towery of South Pekin, Larry Reese and David (Shelby) Reese, both of Pekin and several cousins.
Ashley had a love for animals and her pet rats. She volunteered at TAPS and enjoyed reading, writing, listening to music, watching scary movies and playing video games.
Her graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. Deacon Ernie Whited will officiate. Private visitation will be at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
