I was blessed to meet Ashley four years ago.  Slowly we bonded as friends and and shared our inner thoughts and aspirations.  She is an inspiration to me and will always be.  It breaks my heart and soul to find this out. My belief in God gives me a peace of mind that she was born to this Earth to bless and inspire everyone who new her. I wish I could have spent every second with her. As I grieve over her passing I am bargaining to the Good Lord that she is dinning at his table with all the hosts of heaven.  I will never forget you Ashley you are always on my mind.  Peace and Love be with you.  Please God hold her heart close.  That is what I pray and please look over her children and family and continue to bless them.  AMEN 

My favorite memories with Ashley Marie Gase is when she first told me we was gonna be parents and even though we was not together we became friends and we had a bond so close where we shared everything with each other like when she didn't have a place to go she moved in with me and my grandmother for a year and a half until she got her a job and a car but even then she always could come and sleep until she needed to go to work we have alot of memories together that i wouldn't trade for nothing in the world 

I always looked forward to seeing Ashley. She would always make me laugh about something—anything—without trying, and even on my worst days. Two of her favorite things in high school were oatmeal cream pies and bus rides with all the volleyball girls. She was the life of every party and I wish I could’ve had more parties with her. Miss you more than you know, darlin’. 

I went to school with Ashley, I never told her but she made a heavy impact on my life, she was real and never held back her emotions and I admired that. I looked up to her, I remember when I played volleyball with her that I could see the determination in her eyes and I strived to show the same. I know she’s gone through hell and back but it gives me some comfort to know she’s at peace. She truly was a beautiful soul.

We used to fight over who’s turn it was to go fishing with daddy. Anytime the three of us would go together we would have a competition to see who could catch the most fish. This one time I had caught eleven fish, you caught five and daddy caught two. We were bragging how we beat him the whole way home.

I remember I used to love watching you play volleyball.  The team gave you the nickname of “Niagara Falls” because you were always falling down. I remember I was so excited when we thought we were going to be playing together. I know when I start playing volleyball again it will be very hard, but I’m finding comfort in knowing that you and daddy will be cheering for me from heaven.

What a sweet girl. I remember my daughter coaching her in volleyball. She had so much drive. I called her Pippi. Rest In Peace sweet girl 🙏
