Born June 17, 1949 in Peoria, Illinois to Charles Virgil and Shirley J. (Hubbart) Shryock; she married Bill Hill on December 24, 1982 and he survives.
Also surviving are her children, Charles Frederick Runyon, Brian Richard (Heather) Runyon of Canton and Tara Nicole (Adam) Detweiler of Leander, TX; her sister, Judy (Joe) Jackson of Green Valley; her brothers, Tom Shryock of Pekin and Virgil Shryock of Caldwell, TX; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Sierra, Allie Jean, Autumn, Jacob, Emma and Lydia; and three great grandchildren, Noah, Kyler and Reese.
She graduated Green Valley High School Class of 1967.
Andrea loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved taking them camping and fishing. She also enjoyed traveling around the country with her husband, visiting wineries in 15 states. She was also a collector of flip-flops and nail polish.
She loved to dance as she had her own distinctive dance moves. She loved family get togethers and she attended the Shryock reunion in Illinois and Bill’s family reunion in Missouri.
She was a 15 year survivor of breast cancer.
The family will celebrate Andrea’s life with a funeral service at 6:00 pm Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin.
A Celebration Visitation will follow the funeral service beginning at 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home featuring Andrea’s famous jalapeno cornbread.
