Alan J. K Vaughn

He was born December 10, 1990 in Peoria to Keith A. and Wendy (Taylor) Vaughn.

Surviving are his mother and step-father, Wendy and Kevin McCready of East Peoria; father, Keith Vaughn of Pekin; maternal grandparents, James and Edith Taylor of Pekin; paternal grandparents, Kennith and Beverly Vaughn of East Peoria; three sisters, Jennifer Stout, Shelby Vaughn and Shayla Vaughn, all of Pekin; two step-brothers, Kyle (Baeleigh) McCready of Elmwood and Tyler McCready of Brimfield; two nieces, Isabella and Ruex; four nephews, Maxx, Dirk, Otto and Charlie; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Shiree Burns.

Alan had attended Pekin Community High School. He last worked at the Peoria Civic Center.

Alan loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, fishing, hunting, four-wheeling on ATV’s and listening to live bands. He also enjoyed playing frisbee golf and socializing with friends.

His visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services and cremation will be accorded following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Teen Challenge Peoria, 311 South Olive Street, Peoria, IL 61602.
