Born April 28, 1926 in Aurora to William B. and Gertrude O. (Edwards) Hall, she married John Arthur “Jack” Wilson on June 22, 1946 in Aurora. He died June 28, 2001 in Osage Beach, Missouri. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William C. Hall and one sister, Audrey Sherman.
Surviving are two daughters, Cyndy (Chuck) McKeown of Bloomington and Debra L. (Dr. Craig) Rogers of Katy, Texas; five grandchildren, Shannon (David) Wasser of Bloomington, Stephanie (Ryan) Rogers of Houston, Texas, Jodie Rogers of Katy, Texas, Shawna (Evan) Erswell of Bloomington and Christopher Rogers of Eugene, Oregon and five great-grandchildren, Braeden Wasser, Cameron Wasser, Gavin Whaley, Griffin Whaley and Grayson Whaley.
Ada was a realtor in Aurora and Naperville for more than 30 years. She also had formerly served as a secretary for East Aurora School District 131 for 15 years from 1956 to 1971.
Music was a passion of hers and she was a beautiful painter. Ada was active in the Naperville and Aurora music community for many years. She also had a very strong faith and was always willing to share it with others. She was a former longtime member of Fourth Street United Methodist Church in Aurora.
Her private funeral service will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Burial will follow in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
