Sean Jennings, beloved husband, father, son, and friend, passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 46. Born in Galveston and raised in Clear Lake, Sean spent most of his adult life in the DFW area before settling in Missouri City eight years ago. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith in God.
Sean was a devoted husband to Mindy and a proud father to their son, Rex. His greatest joy in life was being Rex's father, a role he cherished with all his heart. Sean is also survived by his loving aunt, Tami Jennings Doyle, who helped raise him and who he was very close with, and his uncle, David Doyle, his father, Calvin Jennings, along with many other family members and friends who will forever remember his warmth, kindness, and infectious laugh.
His bond with his late grandmother, Sylvia Jennings, was especially profound, and her love and guidance had a lasting impact on his life.
A proud graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor's degree in business, Sean enjoyed a successful career in sales. He married Mindy in 2007, and together, they built a beautiful life and family. In 2013 they welcomed their son, Rex, into the world. Sean's passions included sports, particularly baseball, which he played in his youth, and he remained an avid fan of baseball, football, and basketball throughout his life. He was especially his Houston sports teams. He loved golf and spending time outdoors, whether fishing or simply enjoying nature. Sean was also a huge fan of music of all kinds and was always inspiring his friends with new music. He also enjoyed rapping and creating his own lyrics.
Known for his sense of humor, generosity, and faith in God, Sean was the life of every gathering and a loyal friend to many. He was a member of River Point Church, where his belief in God was evident. His faith was a guiding force in his life, and it gives comfort to know he is now at peace in Heaven.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sean will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Forest Park South Funeral Home. The Family requests everyone wear Celebration Attire or your favorite Houston Sports Gear - all bright colors and no black..
Sean will be remembered for the love he shared, the laughter he spread, and the way he made every person feel special. He lived his life with a full heart, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
