This has been the hardest year of my life without you, it’s like I’m numb and just floating along. Loosing your person is a whole different type of pain. Fly high Lynn until we meet again love ❤️ love you to the moon and back!

I was saddened to learn of Marci's death.  She was in my senior English class and was one of my favorite students of all time.  She always put a smile on my face.  Her family is in my prayers.

Marci will always be beloved to our family. My children have fond memories of her love and care for them. Marci loved people completely. She adored her family. I will miss Marci. She was my friend when I truly needed a friend and I will always be grateful for that friendship and sisterhood we shared on this earth. Until we meet again! ❤️

My heart is broken. Penelope and I miss you so much! Thanks for loving her like your own.

Dear Tripp and Hopkins family and friends of Marci,
I will thinking of you as you lay Marci to rest today.  I know Marci from Maricopa and her time spent at Pima Butte and Butterfield schools. I knew her as an attentive and loving mother, volunteer and employee.  She helped me out in the library, even undertaking a big project for a special Christmas event we were having.  We became FB friends after she moved to Houston. She often posted as a proud mother of her children's achievements, a caring daughter to her own mother in times of need, and an excited first time Grandma, or as she referred to herself, Yaya😊 I know she will be missed terribly by all her knew and loved her. I pray that God will bless you all with His comfort during this very difficult time.

Marci is now in Heaven with our Buster, she was right there with us holding his hand when he took his last breath❤️🐶❤️ Y’all are now together throwing the ball, giving belly rubs and unlimited treats!

Marci Happy Place was always with dogs! We shared that passion and went above and beyond for every dog when we opened this store together. I loved seeing Marci so happy daily🐶

This is around the time I met Marci 9yrs ago and we had the opportunity of meeting Jennifer Nettles at her concert,  who we  both looooved and we  thought we sounded like her when we sang out loud 😂😂  Marci was so cute and nervous when she got to ask Jennifer Nettles questions in the meet and greet-her smile was bigger then Texas getting to visit with this superstar, I will forever cherish this special moment!

Marci was the most thoughtful human I ever knew, I got these daily asking how my day was going. Will sure miss those and our 50 FaceTimes a day laughing or solving the world!

Until we meet again love, I will carry our special bond that not all people are fortunate enough to experience in this life❤️

We were always laughing no matter what we did, will truly miss us cutting up! Mom loved you like her own, y’all’s bond was so unique and special.

We loved going to concerts, Marci and I would always talk about how healing music is, we were always jamming to something. Marci, Taylor, Mom and I always made sure to catch good music together!

Marci was a very special friend and person to me and I will forever hold a special place in my heart, we met when she moved in behind me into a new home in Arizonia, we became fast friends and she helped me through my divorce and  we lived together for while till she moved back to Texas. She loved the word "Believe"... and I feel it is very fitting for her ..as she believed in being strong, being fearless, being beautiful and believed that anything was possible if you just believed. She told me this often and showed it in so many aspects of her life, thanks Marci for keeping me  "Believing " and be an example of all these things. 

Marci taught me so much... as we did much together for many years; she taught me how make Houtenannies, and what Gumbo was, about Texas football, to climb the fences into each others yards, to love Sugarland & Jennifer Nettles, to swim with gators, raising puppies, I now know I should match my sneakers with my clothes before going out... The list goes on and on .... but just a few of my many memories ...as I sit and think of her and love them all, this all makes me smile through my tears...

I met Marci several years ago when I walked into get a haircut and she greeted me with a smile - and started cutting my hair and chatting asked me what I was doing later - and said I was going to watch my daughter play volleyball - she kinda laughed and said "really - what a coincidence - so I am I".

So - then we started talking about Volleyball and she asked about my daughter and the more talked - and she said about her daughters both playing Volleyball at Dawson and club - the more I began to realize we must be talking about the same game or even the same team.

It turns out I was talking about my daughter Kaelyn and she was talking about her daughter Kari - it turns out today they are roommates at ASU - but back then they were teammates - and when we realized this - we both just laughed.

I did not know Marci well,  but I do know this - she was always there for her girls playing Volleyball - and she was always there supporting the team.    I could tell she loved her kids - which told me alot about who she was - her character.    

I have no doubt she'll be missed by many...and I pray for peace and comfort for the family....

Sending my heartfelt prayers to the entire Hopkins Family at this time. Bill, Jeffrey, Matthew, and I met Marci in 1992 when we moved to Cedar City from California. Melvin, Jolynn, Marci, and Brian became our first friends💓. 

I will always have fond memories of Marci. She was a beautiful young lady whose smile was contagious. She was a student at SUU 
and after graduation was hired as the Math Dept secretary. We spent a number of years working side by side in the School of Science and spent many hours getting to know each other, sharing our life experiences and always laughing. 

To be able to watch her fall in love with Jarom and bring three beautiful children into the world was special.  The weekend trips to Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Lake Powell with all our families  are lifetime memories that will always  standout in my mind. Marci was a devoted Mother and told me often that the only thing that mattered in life was  her family.  

Friendships were an important part of Marci’s life. She always kept in touch with Bill and I even as we moved about the country and when we visited in Houston. 

Marci will be missed and always loved by her Mother, children,  brothers, extended family and friends. 

May the Lord bless and keep your family in the palms of his hands in the coming days.

Marci, Bev and Mom(Cindy)  shared such a deep love and bond and instantly Marci was like family to them both 9yrs ago when I met Marci. I could never thank Marci enough for how much she loved and did for these two wonderful ladies.

Our last concert together couple months back, “Pink” who we looooved! Glad I was able to create those memories that night.

Our happy place was with as many dogs as we could be around always! When we were not working with dogs, we were out rescuing dogs off the street. I will carry this love for animals on for the both of us now❤️🐶

Marci was mom’s (Cindy) BFF, who she called maaaaamaaaaa! They had a bond like no other and talked daily about life.
