Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 11:00am, Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with interment in the Fairmount Waco Cemetery in Mize.
She was born Monday, November 11, 1957, in Magee, Mississippi, a daughter Scharlene Tebo Tanner and the late Billy R. Tanner.
Ms. Nelson was a member of the Faith Family Church of God in Pearl and was retired from the MS State Tax Commission.
Survivors include son, Clayton Nelson; mother, Scharlene Tanner; sister, Treaba Robinson; and grandchildren, Drake and KayLynn Nelson.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Emily Rae Nelson, and brother, Alan J. Tanner.
