Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 13, 2016, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Greenfield Road in Pearl.
Sylvia was born Wednesday, January 23, 1952, in Jackson, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Archie L. Hart, Jr., and Myrtle Floyd Hart. She spent her early years in Richland, Mississippi, and moved to Pearl in the 1990's. Sylvia was a gifted crochet artist. She crafted beautiful doll clothing, as well as blankets, baby shoes, and many other exquisite crotchet keepsakes for family and friends. She also enjoyed floral arranging and designing.
Her survivors include son, Jerry Barlow and wife Melissa; sister, Mary Hart; brother, Tommie Hart; grandchildren, Lacy Barlow, Desiree Barlow, Caroline Jayden Barlow and Andrew Morris Barlow; niece, Danielle Robbins and husband Henry; and several other relatives and friends.
