Judy V. Pitts

Visitation will be held 12:00-2:00pm Saturday, Marach 15, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

She was born Saturday, November 17, 1951 in Jackson, Mississippi, a daughter of Marie Price Vance Watkins and the late James Vance.

Mrs. Pitts was a faithful member of Eastside Baptist Church in Pearl, having taught Sunday School and worked with the youth for many years. Her hobbies included reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Don Pitts; mother, Marie Vance Watkins; sons, Darrell Pitts and wife Penny and David Pitts; brother, Ronnie Vance; grandchildren, Dillon, Anna Joy, Merrily and Hannah Pitts; father-in-law, Norbon Pitts; niece, Taylor Vance; and great-nieces, Katie and Braizlynn Mangum.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Vance.
