Jennifer was born in Jackson, MS on April 15th to Glenda Hays McHenry and the late John W. “Billy Mac” McHenry of Pearl. She was a graduate of Pearl High School and attended Hinds Community College.
Jennifer worked as a mail courier for the Rankin County, County Offices. Jennifer was a member of Park Place Baptist Church, where she worked with the GA’s, the welcome center, and the nursery. Jennifer was an avid sports fan, a member of the MS Braves Booster Club and a season ticket holder of the MS Braves since they came to Pearl. Jennifer enjoyed watching her niece and nephews participate in their various activities, but her most favorite was when they competed in Church Bible Drill.
Jennifer is survived by her mother, Glenda; her brother, John and his wife, Shelley, of Pearl; and her nephews, Conner and Campbell and niece, Raelyn, all of Pearl.
Jennifer will always be remembered for her contagious smile and her sweet spirit. While on this earth, Jennifer truly lived out John 15:12, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”
Funeral services will be held at Baldwin-Lee in Pearl, MS on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10:00 am. Visitation for Jennifer McHenry will be held at Baldwin-Lee in Pearl on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the mission funds at Park Place Baptist Church or McLaurin Heights Baptist Church of Pearl.
