Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00pm, Monday, December 11, 2023, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ted Giordano and Rev. Calvin Williams officiating. Interment be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, Mississippi immediately following services.
Jan was born in Fort Myers, Florida, on January 16, 1943, to Cecil Lee Lewis and Thelma Avis Hardy. She graduated from Brandon High School in May of 1960, and married the love of her life Charles Sidney Hudson on November 12, 1960, making a home and raising a family in Pearl, Mississippi. Jan was a stay-at-home mom who dearly loved her children. She enjoyed going on long trips, baking, animals, and especially spending time with her friends and family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed.
Jan is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Sidney Hudson, of Pearl, MS; her son Charles A. Hudson of Pearl, MS, her 3 grandchildren – Charles Sidney Hudson II, Spencer James Hudson, and Kathryn Sophia Hudson of Slidell, LA; Her siblings Mona Lewis, Dianne Tigrett, James Lewis, and Marie Reed; and, many much-loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Avis Lewis and her son Michael Sidney Hudson.
