Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Thursday, November 21, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
She was born July 16, 1944, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Estus R. Garner and Georgie Miller Garner. Jackie was a Godly, Christian wife, mother, and grandmother and a member of First Baptist Church in Pearl. She enjoyed a lengthy career as a telephone/switchboard operator for South Central Bell and River Oaks Hospital. She also served the City of Pearl as a school crossing guard where she was loved by the many students she protected. In her free time Jackie enjoyed gardening and tending to her beautiful flowers and plants, cooking, caring for her cats, and doing anything she could to help someone in need.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Don Kelly; sons, Mickey Kelly and wife Jennifer, and Jason Kelly and wife Kim; grandchildren, Christian Kelly, Jayden Kelly, Blake Kelly, Kinley Kelly, Taylor McKay, and Lindsey Lewis; great-grandchildren, Karter and Briggs Gilbert; brothers, Marty Kerley, and Tommy Kerley; sisters, Judy Creel, and Peggy Dyess; and her precious feline companion, Sassy.
In addition to her parents Jackie was preceded in death by sisters, Sally Goodwin, and Kathy McNeese; and brother, Estus Garner, Jr.
