Fannie Agnese Slade, 87, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 5pm-8pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday in the funeral home chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Slade retired as a bookkeeper from the Mississippi State Hospital. She was a longtime member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed being a member of the choir when she was able to attend. Mrs. Slade was Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes Slade; husband, Fredrick N. Slade; brother, John Rupert Slade; and sister, Mary Alta Walden.
She is survived by her niece, Belita Knighton of Pensacola, FL; nephews, Jeffrey Slade of Jay, FL, Randy and Gary Slade of Pace, FL and Carlton Walden of Oxford, MS.
