Dennis Wayne Thornton

He was born on January 19,1961 to the late Dennis Edward Thornton and Barbara Ann Husband Thornton in Jackson, Mississippi. He worked for several years as an air conditioning technician, most recently with Ivey Mechanical. In his free time, he loved to watch movies. To Dennis, there was no such thing as "running out of movies to watch"; he would tune into even the strangest things that would stop any family members passing through the living room, leaving them perplexed ! His other hobby was building trainsets. His latest project was crafting a scene that included all the surrounding landscape with a miniature model village.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Guess.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Susan Renee Brantley; sister, Karen Walton; brother, William Dean Wilcher; grandchildren, Gunter Brantley and Holden Brantley; a number of beloved cousins and extended family members; and his beloved pup, Peanut.

The family will have a private service.

He will so deeply missed.
