Danny was born December 10, 1959, in Tylertown, Mississippi, a son of the late Ray Wilson Salers and Edwena Holmes Salers. He worked for many years in the medical field as a phlebotomist.
Like many others Danny experienced ups and downs throughout his life, but he was a survivor, and in recent years had found peace within himself. He was dedicated to his friends and family at Grace Church in Pearl, and to his comrades in his local AA chapter. Danny’s innately affable spirit drove his will to care for others. This was best demonstrated by his penchant for always remembering his family and friends with a special card for birthdays and Christmas.
Danny is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Ramona Salers; sister and brother-in-law, Frelisha and Richard McCraw; and several nieces and nephews.
