Damon, 66 years young, was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Renaldo; and his long time companion, Terry Lee Brown.
He left to cherish and treasure his memory his mother, Shawn A. Brown; siblings, Teresa Collie (Glen), Perry Renaldo (Carol), Micki Dooley (Bobby), Maria Seales (David), and Karen Brown; and other close loved ones, Christi Reeder and children, Meaghan Alhberg and children, Naomi Cumberland; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will all miss him greatly.
Damon enjoyed a lengthy career at the Mississippi State Hospital was an electrical maintenance supervisor. Known as the quentessential "Mr. Fix-It", Damon was handy at fixing most anything.
Damon loved hunting and fishing and people and animals in need. He was also a talented musician, guitarist, and songwriter. His family laughingly remembers him driving them crazy as a teen learning to play Deep Purple's "Smoke On the Water".
He fulfilled so many roles in the lives of the people that knew him and needed him, always willing to help, guide, provide for, lift and take care of others.
He constantly spread a little sunshine in this world that won't be soon forgotten.
A Celebration of Damon's life will be held from 2:00pm until 5:00pm, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home. Please join us to remember and honor a wonderful soul and life well lived.
