Visitation is 1:00-4:00pm today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 2:00pm Monday, September 19, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Glenwood Memorial Park.
Curtis was born June 16, 1948 in Newton, MS, a son of Georgie Madden Comans and the late Luther Comans, Jr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served a tour in Vietnam as a door gunner on helicopters. He and his family owned and operated Capitol Pest Control. He was a member of the Baptist faith and his hobbies included riding motorcycles and watching football, particularly Ole Miss and the Saints.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Terresa Nance Comans; mother, Georgie M. Comans; sons, Curtis Eugene Comans, Jr. and Clinton Terry Comans; daughter, Tonya Bairfield; brothers, Eddie Ray Comans
(Linda) and James L. Comans; sisters, Brenda “Gail” Langford and Sandra Webb (Jack); and 3 grandchildren.
