Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:30pm, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at McLaurin Heights Baptist Church. Celebration of Life Services will follow at 2:30pm.
Wayne was born March 24, 1973, in Jackson. He was a 1991 graduate of Pearl High School and a graduate of Gadsden State Community College. Wayne had a lengthy career in HVAC and refrigeration installation and repair. Throughout his career he worked for Environment Masters, Fountain Construction, and at the time of his passing, was employed with Prodigy Commercial HVAC.
Wayne valued anything with wheels- hot rods, classic cars, and motorcycles, and enjoyed riding his Harley with his brothers as a member of the “Sons of Silence” motorcycle club. He was a fan of rock music, Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, and the hot rod character, Rat Fink.
Wayne was known for speaking his mind, a trait that many admired and respected as you always knew where you stood with Wayne.
Wayne’s truest joy was his family, particularly his two precious daughters.
Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Kasha Tullos Bray in 2007, and his longtime companion, Kim Henry in 2024.
He is survived by daughters, Amber Bray, and Addyson Bray; father, Curtis W. “Big Wayne” Bray, Sr and wife Joann; mother, Julia Jones Bray; brother, Anthony Bray and wife Staci; sister-in-law, Erica Peterson; and longtime friends, Brock Harrell, Chris Goss, and Tammy Holifield.
