The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:00pm on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at The Church at Shiloh in Pelahatchie. The funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00pm that same day in the Church. Burial will take place afterwards in the Shiloh Cemetery.
He was born on January 14, 1973 to the late Benny Doster and Martha Stevens Doster. Chris worked for several years as a sales manager at ConsteelCo. An avid outdoorsman, he loved being at deer camp. Chris was big on boating and hunting, as well as being a diehard fan of the University of Alabama football team. Above all, however, he loved his family. Chris was extremely supportive in anything his children were involved with, faithfully attending every single game or event. He even was named “Honored Parent of the Year” in 2018 at Pelahatchie High. He treasured any time spent with them and especially loved the holidays because they could all be together and celebrate traditions.
In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Betty Stevens.
He survived by his dear wife, Kim Doster; children, Collins and Kenner Doster; brother, Doug Doster; brother-in-law, Matt Hillard; sister-in-law, Miranda Kenner (husband Paul Becker); nephews, Colton Becker and Gabriel Becker; and several beloved aunts, uncles, and other extended family members.
