Mrs. Christine Magee, 65, died December 16, 2011 at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, December 19, 2011 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel with interment at 12 Noon Monday at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Harrisville, MS. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 PM at Baldwin-Lee.
Mrs. Magee was an active member of Gunter Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends and family and being involved with various church activities.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Magee of Richland; son, Rocky Speights (Betty) of Byram; step-sons, Ronnie Magee of Southaven, Ricky Magee of Rustberg and David Magee of Knoxville; brothers, Howard Shorter of Pearl, Carroll Shorter of Jackson and Harold Shorter of Ludlow; sister, Nicole Shorter of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Melissa Bullock, Hunter Speights, Chandler Magee, Ethan Magee, Caleb Magee, Josh Magee and Brittany Magee; great grandchildren, Brandon Hooks and Jackson Bullock.
