A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. A private burial will be held to reunite his Earthly remains with his beloved wife, Martha, at Lakewood Memorial Park on Clinton Boulevard in Jackson.
He was born on August 16, 1942 to the late Charles William McAllister and Lois Summers. After graduating from Jackson Central High School, Charles attended Hinds Junior College. He then enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served our country. Charles also gave decades of service at Herrin-Gear Chevrolet-Lexus, ultimately becoming exclusively a Lexus mechanic before his well-earned retirement. He worked hard his entire life and truly fought hard until the very end. Matthew 11:28 KJV "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
In addition to his parents and his wife, preceding him in death is his brother, John McAllister.
Charles is survived by his sons, Kenneth McAllister (Patricia) and Charles William McAllister; sister, Susan McAllister Harris (Randy); and lots cherished nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends.
