She was born February 5, 1939, in Pearl, a daughter of the late Walter D. Wynn and Ina Pearl Hurst Wynn.
With her kind spirit and servant’s heart, Carolyn lovingly dedicated her life to others. As the oldest of four, she helped to raise her younger siblings while her mother worked. Her devotion to her family was tremendous, and she found her greatest joy in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. That same love for youngsters carried over into the many years she spent caring for children in her home.
Carolyn was a member of Pearl United Methodist Church and in recent years attended Liberty Baptist Church when her health permitted.
In her free time Carolyn enjoyed canning pickles, which she shared with family and friends, and shopping for deals on QVC.
Loved by so many, Carolyn will best be remembered for her sweet, selfless nature and her steadfast ardour to help others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Bunyard, Jr.; sister, Betty Wynn Byrd; and brother, Donald “Donnie” Wynn.
Survivors include son, Dwayne Bradshaw; daughters, Renee Wood and husband Barry, and Wendy Bradshaw; brother, Walter D. “Sonny” Wynn; grandchildren, Matt Wood and wife Ashley, and Jason Wood; and her precious great-granddaughters, Reese and Rivers Wood.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm, Monday, February 22, 2021, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, with funeral services at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Dr. John Cofer will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
