He was born August 7, 1935, in Sebastopol, Mississippi, a son of the late Elijah Brunson and Gaston Morrow Brunson.
Mr. Brunson was a faithful member of Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Pearl. Along with his son, Danny, he owned and operated Brunson Tech Supply in Pearl. His enjoyed hunting, Ole Miss football, and Pearl High School football where he was an honored 46 year member of the “Chain Gang”.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 65 years, Sadie Lang Brunson; son, Danny Brunson; daughters, Barbie Womack and husband Randy, and Brenda Smith and husband Tracy; sister, Bernice Lofton; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm, Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Pearl. Funeral services are 1:00pm, Sunday, January 12, 2020, in the church. Graveside services will follow at 3:30pm in the Damascus Cemetery in Walnut Grove.
