

Memorial services will be 10:00am, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Ben was born September 25, 1939 in Jackson, Mississippi, a son of the late Howard E. Lemmon and Iris B. McKinney Lemmon.
He was a 40 year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. Ben was well known for his A&W Concession business at the Mississippi State Fairground, which he operated for 50 years, from 1962 until 2012. His hobbies included working in his yard and spending time with with his beloved cats, B.B. and Bones, and his "Tweety" bird.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Judy Lemmon; daughter, Jeri Lynn Arender and husband Terry; grandchildren, Robert Presley, Chase Frazer, Cheyenne Barfield and Raven Barfield; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Hunter Presley; sisters-in-law, Annice, Bobbie and Donna; son, Sam Lemmon and his children, Mallory Williams, Jordan Lemmon and Cody Lemmon; and brother, Asa Lemmon and wife Becky.
The family would like to express their thanks to Ben’s true friends, Larry Miller and James and Joyce Wells.
In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by sons, Chris Winchester and David Medders.
