Yvonne Norton

Yvonne Diana Norton, 55, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away on March 13, 2021. Born February 13, 1966, she was the only daughter of Windel Norton of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Monika Norton of Augsburg, Germany.

Yvonne graduated from Fayette County High School and graduated from Georgia State University. She worked as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines, secretary for American Express, assistant for ClubZ Tutoring, front desk assistant and the Student Information Specialist for Whitewater Middle School.

Yvonne was a blessing and an angel on earth. Her selfless and loving soul will continue to live through all those she dearly loved. Her legacy will be continued by her son Collin (20); and daughter, Chaney (17).

She is preceded in death by her dad, Windel; her mom, Monika; and her grandparents, Franz and Vera Drobek.

Yvonne’s memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel, 135 Senoia Road, Peachtree City, Georgia, 30269. Visitation with family and friends will follow the service. We ask that everyone wear a bright color to celebrate her life.
