My memories of Billy, Liz ( my sister) and their three children are in a very special place in my heart.  I had the great fortune to have lived close to them when I was going to nursing school, and for nearly 10 years after becoming a nurse.  One of my best memories:  I had to go to Birmingham to take a Pre- entrance exam for nursing school.  Billy said here; take the “ bug”.  I had never been to B’ham, nor had I driven a stick shift in the floor.  He said “don’t worry...you will be fine & figure it all out...see you when you get back this afternoon.”  I did fine..Billy always knew the right thing to say to me at the right time.  And, he always wanted to meet anyone I was dating to give me his take on him.  I love the entire family with all my heart.  Aunt Margarett

I’m so sorry to hear about Mr. Hodges passing.  I have so many fond memories of spending time with Billy and Liz  and Julia, Janet, and Scott in Sylacauga at both homes.  I still think of those sweet days when I drive by the houses when I’m in Sylacauga.
Your dad was a kind man to all who visited.  I’m glad I knew him and you mom.  May you memories bring the family comfort.  Love you.
