Bob graduated from General Motors Institute in Flint, MI with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and spent most of his career with National Cash Register (NCR) where he was instrumental in pioneering the barcoding system for NCR’s Worldwide Parts Distribution center.
The Neffs were one of the original families in Peachtree City when they joined the community in 1972. Bob was active in the First Presbyterian Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir and serving as a deacon and elder. He was active in both Rotary and Kiwanis.
He enjoyed reading, traveling, the outdoors and especially the Florida beaches. All of our dogs have had a special place in his heart, and he had a special connection with animals.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Neff; his mother, Evelyn Kessler Neff; and his stepmother, Virginia McEntee Neff.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Nancey (Worz) Neff; his children, Curtis (Linda) and Amy Nash (Greg); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Barbone (Jason), Crystin Gulledge (David), Emily Neff, Cliff Nash (Tara); and his five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church, 206 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269. A visitation will be held at 11:00am with the service to follow at 12:00pm.
