Sending my love and wishes of peace to the Romero Family and all who loved our beautiful "Mama".  I had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving Day with her 2 years ago and will always remember her motherly love, kindness and thoughtfulness.

To my Romero family I am so very sorry for your loss. I am still shocked at the news that Mrs. Romero is no longer with us. I feel privileged that I got to meet her back in 1991 when the Romero family first moved to Fayetteville. The 7th grade birthday party will always be one of my favorite parties in life. Mrs. Romero was not only the fun cool mom she was also the sweet mom who I never saw get mad. I use to be jealous of Alfred, Isabel and Mirna because not only were their parents so adorable they were also very dedicated to their children. They literally never missed a game.. a chorus concert or any other school event one of their children had participation in. At Isa’s wedding I’m pretty sure Mrs. Romero was one of the first people to hit the dance floor! She was also so much fun and just so full of life. I hope when or if I reach that age I have as much spunk as she did! She will be sorely missed but she leaves a beautiful legacy behind with her amazing kids and grandchildren. May she live in our hearts and memories until we are all reunited again. Sending my love.. my prayers and hugs to the family.

To the Romero family, 
 the world has lost an angel.
I am saddened by this unexpected news. I always looked forward to our visits as she gave me many genuine hugs. She never complained and was always happy and smiling. 
I still see her beautiful face with her gold chain and I would get to practice my Spanish with her.
I will miss her terribly. I was honored to have been her doctor and friend for many years.
Honor her by living your best life and giving to others like she did.

Matilde was such a special person - I always said she was an angel here on earth.  Her laugh, her love and her very presence made all those around her joyous. So sorry for your loss , I didn't know your mom for long but  from the moment you introduced me to your loving mom ,  everytime she came to shop she would aways  give me a hug and a kiss . I'm truly going to miss her hugs .

Querido Tío Fredy, Primo, Primas y Familia,
No hay palabras para decir cuánto siento el fallecimiento de Mathy. Mis recuerdos son de mas de 50 años cuando Tio se casó con Mathy . Una nueva Tia se unió a nuestra familia con cariño y bondad. Siempre estuvo presente en cada época de mi vida: graduaciones, matrimonio y cumpleaños en mi juventud. 
Pero lo que tengo más presente en mi memoria es el cariño que tenia a mi Tío y a sus seres queridos. Tenia un gran corazón ♥️ que vamos a extrañar.

The first day I met Matilde I absolutely fell in love with her.  She made it her business that every time she came into the store she always gave me a big hug.  We talked one day for a long time, I told her I lose my mother some years ago and she told me that I could start calling her Mom; that melted my heart.  I am going to miss her hugs and just seeing her smile when we would talk.  This is a huge void for her husband, daughters and family, but I pray that God be everything they need in these uncertain times.  Matilde, every minute of the day you will be missed.

I will always remember Mrs. Romero as a kind, loving, and happy woman. She raised three wonderful kids , and she  was a loving grandmother.  I loved her dearly, and I will miss her very much, as will so many others.

Mi corazón y oraciones por toda la familia. Dios fue bueno al darnos a tía Maty este tiempo, una mujer llena de risas y alegria para todos. Siempre unia a la familia y nos daba amor ahora descansa 💕

Mrs. Romero was such a bright light. Every time she would come into the store she would give me a tight hug and tell me she loved me. She was so silly and always made us laugh at 1143. She was such a delight to be around and will be greatly missed by everyone.

Mrs. Romero was a wonderful person. She and Mr. Romero would come to Publix and visit their daughter Isabel. Mrs. Romero would have to speak to everyone and give lots of hugs. She was genuine.  She loved and cared for everyone.  She was also funny. I will miss her sweet face and great smile.  Lots of love and prayers to her family.

What a beautiful woman. Inside and out. She was so much fun and such a firecracker. She made me laugh all the time. At Isa’s wedding, she wiped her hands together and said,” good riddance “ to Isa. She said she was out of her hands now. It was so funny. So many other memories also. I love her and she will be so missed.

Every time I have seen your mom, either around town, in Publix or back in the day on the sidelines in soccer she always had a smile on her face.  Your mom was a sweet, kind person. May she R.I.P.

Brinson and I are thinking of all of you during this difficult time. My heart breaks for y’all over the loss of your beloved mom.
